GFI was founded in 2013 by a group of like -minded friends who were passionate about addressing India’s rising garbage and littering crisis. It has now become a citizen driven movement aimed at building zero waste communities by teaching people how to segregate waste at source, and develop ‘pro-environment’ attitudes and behaviors.

Garbage Free India (GFI) are innovators and are driving trend-setting initiatives to make sure our environs are free of garbage thrown mindlessly. Be it through #Socho Alagvfor #meredusguj under Dettol-Banega Swachh India, high impact citizen engaged movements have been implemented. Rb-GFI partnership remains strong and will be the driving force as it seeks to sustain the momentum and proliferate the agenda to achieve garbage free surroundings widely across the country.
