Waste Awareness at Delhi School

St. Xaviers Secondary School invited GFI to conduct an awareness session with children from the junior and senior school, as well as their NCC cadets. The session was very interactive and received with great enthusiasm. The children were very knowledgable about the hazards of waste and the importance of being responsible citizens. Many ideas were offered by them on small steps to manage waste such as to stop littering and avoid using plastic and bring steel tiffin carriers to school. Some even mentioned their parents were doing composting at home. The school is now keen to take the learnings forward by starting segregation at school.
